Email Configuration Help – New Server

Access to the old email server:

www.macphersonspm.com/webmail

Use your username and password to login.  Then, you can forward email that you need to yourself.  It will be sent to the new email server.

Configuration for the new Email Server

We are now using a new email server with better email spam filtering, better mobile capability and greater storage capacity. In order to access your email account on the new server, you will need to change settings in Outlook and the other devices you currently use to access email. Below are the settings you will need to know.

Use this page help setup email on Outlook, Apple Mail, Android or whatever device you are using.

These are the main settings you need to know. If you need to know where these settings are, follow the screenshots below:

POP Account Settings

Incoming Mail Server: pop.secureserver.net
Outgoing Mail Server: smtpout.secureserver.net

Incoming Server port
POP without SSL – 110
POP with SSL – 995

Outgoing Server (SMTP) port
Without SSL – one of the following: 25, 80, 3535
With SSL – 465

Make sure ‘My Server Requires Authentication‘ is checked on the Outgoing Server Tab

Enabling SSL is recommended. So, if you do, be sure you enabled SSL and use the proper port numbers, above.

IMAP Account Settings

Incoming Mail Server: imap.secureserver.net
Outgoing Mail Server: smtpout.secureserver.net

Incoming Server port
IMAP without SSL – 143
IMAP with SSL – 993

Outgoing Server (SMTP) port
Without SSL – one of the following: 25, 80, 3535
With SSL – 465

Webmail

You may still use webmail to check your email.  This interface is also mobile friendly.  This webmail account has all your email account settings such as filters and help files. Once you login to your webmail account, you can also click on ‘Tools’ Email Setup Center and it has all the settings you need.

Access Webmail  (https://login NULL.secureserver NULL.net/)

Access old server webmail – Use this to grab email that was on the old server.  You can forward to yourself, it will be sent to the new server.
